How do I order CaterPro for Windows?

What system resources are required to
run CaterPro for Windows?
You will need a minimum of 500 MB of RAM and at least 280 MB of space on
your hard drive.
How do I pay for
CaterPro for Windows?
You will receive an invoice with the product. Prepayment is required if we enter your
menus or customize reports.
Can I get a trial version of the product?
Yes, a trial version of the product is included on the demo CD. Click
here to request the free CD.
What are the limitations of the trial?
All CaterPro for Windows functions are available on the trial. The only limitation is that
you will only be able to enter fifteen events into the database. If you want to continue
using the system after fifteen events have been entered, you must purchase the product.
What is included in the price?
The price includes the software on CD, a video user guide on CD and a printed copy of the user guide (approx.
250
pages), shipping and one year of support.
What is included in the one year of support?
Support includes sending updates to you over the internet for one year. If you discover a
bug in the software we will make every effort to fix the problem and send a fix within 24
hours. During the support period, you are also entitled to submit suggestions for
functions on future versions of the product.
What happens after the one year of support period ends?
You can continue to use Caterpro but will not receive technical support unless you upgrade.
Do I need Microsoft Office to run CaterPro?
No, however you must have Microsoft Word (any version) to produce
letters.
Can I import contacts from Microsoft Outlook?
Yes, you can import contact information directly from Microsoft Outlook to the CaterPro database.
Can I import contacts from Symantec's ACT contact manager?
Yes, but you must first import the contacts in ACT to Microsoft Outlook.
Is there a difference between the single user version and the
network version?
No, only the license agreement is different. Functionally they are the same.
Do I need Microsoft Access on my system to run CaterPro for
Windows?
No, the database drivers for Access are included with CaterPro.
Can CaterPro for Windows run with Windows XP, Windows Vista
and Windows 7?
Yes. CaterPro for Windows runs on computers running Windows 2000 or higher, including
Windows XP Windows Me, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Can information from CaterPro be interfaced to other
applications?
Yes, from CaterPro you can create files that can be sent to calendar, spreadsheet and
contact management programs, to name a few. There is now a sales
interface so you can export menu item sales info to products like ChefTec. You can also export data from the CaterPro
tables using Microsoft Access.
Can the Event Order/Function Sheets and
Invoices be tailored for my business?
Yes, we can add your logo and modify your function sheets and invoices. The minimum charge is $100.00.
Can you enter my menu for me?
Yes, we can set up your database and send it to you with your installation CD. The minimum
charge is $150.00
